A brief cover letter, outlining why you are interested in a Teaching and Research position (no more than 1-2 A4 pages. Focus on quality of content, not quantity.)
Apart from describing your motivation to transition to a Teaching and Research position, you could also write about your recent achievements and plans. For instance, you could include:

Evidence of the quality and impact of your research, your capacity to acquire external research funding, the effectiveness of your industry and/or public engagement, and your contribution to the research culture of your department.

A copy of your CV (no more than 10 pages)

Evidence of Dean (or equivalent) approval (email is sufficient)

Those academic staff members who are successful in being appointed under subclauses 31.24 and 31.25 may choose to revert to their previous academic profile, in which case the reversion will take effect from the next academic year or, where agreed by the Dean, at an earlier time.
