About the position
The Australian Centre for AI in Medical Innovation (ACAMI) is a jointly funded initiative by La Trobe University and Victorian State Government delivering research collaboration projects and workforce development programs to support the upskilling of employees in artificial intelligence across healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors.
Aligned with La Trobe University’s commitment to industry engagement and innovation, ACAMI delivers high-impact education and capability-building programs in partnership with industry, government, and academic stakeholders.
Duties at this level:
- Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of ACAMI workforce development programs, including short courses, executive education, and micro-credentials.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, course packaging, and bundled offerings to optimise market uptake and revenue generation.
- Lead business development activities to identify, shape and secure new customers across industry, government, and healthcare sectors.
- Manage relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and repeat engagement.
- Work with marketing and communications teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns for courses and programs.
- Develop and manage program plans, budgets, and reporting frameworks to ensure delivery within scope, time, and financial targets.
- Work closely with the ACAMI Director and leadership team to support the execution of ACAMI’s workforce development strategy, translating strategic priorities into deliverable programs and outcomes.
Skills and knowledge:
- Strong experience in marketing, commercialisation and go-to-market delivery, including the ability to position, package and promote offerings to industry audiences.
- Proven capability in commercialising products or services, including development of pricing strategies, bundling, value propositions, and revenue models for scalable offerings.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, pipeline management, and revenue generation, with the ability to convert opportunities into sustainable programs.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, market analysis, and demand-driven program design, with the ability to align offerings to industry needs.
- Experience working closely with marketing and communications teams to deliver campaigns, drive engagement, and support program launch and uptake.
