The Manager, Customer Lifecycle sits within the Marketing team and reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Experience and Innovation. The role leads the University’s lifecycle marketing function, combining martech expertise, automation delivery and data-driven campaign execution across email, SMS and digital channels to improve prospective student engagement and conversion from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
Working across Marketing, Communications, Experience, Recruitment, Admissions, Digital Experience, MarTech and Information Services teams, the role designs and optimises personalised journey programs, testing frameworks and performance reporting to ensure lifecycle communications are timely, relevant, compliant and effective. It also leads and develops lifecycle marketing capability, contributes to agile delivery and annual planning, identifies improvement opportunities, and supports the ongoing evolution of the University’s marketing technology stack and customer journey architecture.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience developing and optimising lifecycle marketing programs and automated nurture campaigns within an integrated digital marketing strategy.
- Strong proficiency in martech platforms and CRM systems, with the ability to build, execute and improve lifecycle programs at scale.
- Proven ability to identify and implement innovations in lifecycle marketing and automation capability, keeping the organisation at the forefront of best practice in a rapidly evolving discipline.
- Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, communicate complex issues, drive continuous improvement and innovation, and link lifecycle marketing activity to enrolment, revenue and ROI outcomes.
