About the position

Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Student Voice and Partnerships the Coordinator, Student Voice and Partnerships coordinates the university-wise Student Voice and Students as Partners programs, and associated wider partnership initiatives and activities for both students and university-wide key stakeholders.

This position is responsible for innovating and improving service delivery within their function, maintaining high professional standards, and acting as a specialist in their field. Working as part of a team, they contribute to leadership to the design, development and implementation of activities for the Student Voice and Students as Partners program, working collaboratively with stakeholders across various contexts. Duties include building and maintain relationships, organising and facilitating workshops, events and meetings, guiding students on governance and communication, monitoring and reporting engagement, and developing support systems to enhance quality and efficiency in student partnership activities.

Skills and Experience:

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • Significant expertise developed through extensive relevant experience and practical application.
  • The ability to work cross-functionally in a small team delivering a diverse portfolio of student partnership services.
  • A holistic, student centred, understanding of, and commitment to, promoting student voice, agency, and partnership.
  • Experience in project management and event coordination within the tertiary sector or a related field.
  • The ability to guide diverse stakeholders towards consensus, ensuring outcomes align with the needs of their representative cohorts.
  • The ability to understand, assess, evaluate, and report on student engagement and impact outcomes using reports, presentations, papers, and communications that demonstrate positive outcomes and alignment with organisational strategy.
  • Skills in program design and implementation, including developing structures informed by data and stakeholder input to support high quality engagement and reporting.
  • Intercampus travel will be required.
