About the position

Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) and working closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Training), this role is responsible for managing and supporting the University's global research engagement strategy and graduate research partnerships. This position works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive impactful global research partnerships and initiatives aligned with the University's research strategy.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide advice and support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) and Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Training) in the development and implementation of global research partnerships and initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of the Research Global Engagement Plan, ensuring effective project management, high-quality materials, stakeholder engagement, and enhanced visibility of the University’s global research profile.
  • Manage graduate research partnerships, including stakeholder liaison, agreement management and recordkeeping, ensuring programs are strategic, compliant, and aligned with University policies and regulatory frameworks.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • A bachelor’s or postgraduate degree, together with a combination of relevant knowledge and experience related to the role, and/or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience. equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
  • Extensive experience in program management or senior coordination role, providing project, administrative and high-level executive support to senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders to achieve stated outcomes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting research engagement in Australia and globally.
