- Classification: HEO9 - Base salary from $138,453 + 17% superannuation
- Hybrid work model support
Reporting to the Director, Student Engagement and Inclusion, the Senior Manager, Student Voice and Partnerships provides strategic leadership for the University’ student engagement and partnership agenda. The role leads a team and oversees La Trobe’s direct engagement with the student body and external service delivery partners including the Student Council, the Students as Partners Framework, student leadership and volunteering programs, student mentoring, transition and international engagement, student excellence initiatives, and student clubs.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- A degree, extensive relevant expertise and experience, or postgraduate qualifications and relevant experience, or an equivalent alternate combination with the ability to work collaboratively across functions, tailor communication in a way that is meaningful to the audience and contribute to a safe, inclusive, high-performing culture – consistently modelling accountability, connectedness, innovation and care.
- Strong interpersonal skills including ability to negotiate, motivate, influence and build relationships and service partnerships
- Outstanding strategic and leadership skills, effective engagement and project management skills and a proven record of accomplishment in designing, delivering and evaluating student engagement initiatives at scale in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (Cth) and the Student Services, Amenities, Representation and Advocacy Guidelines (SSARA Guidelines) made under that Act, as it relates to the use and management of Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).
