About the position

• Full-Time, Continuing
• Campus Independent (can be located at Bundoora or any of our VIC regional campuses)
• Classification: HEO6 - Base salary from $96,878 + 17% superannuation
• Hybrid work model support

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Student Voice and Partnership, the Senior Officer, Clubs Compliance oversees the governance, compliance and safety of student clubs and related programs. The role provides central coordination to ensure consistent, compliant and sustainable club operations across all La Trobe University campuses, in alignment with University policies, regulations and legislative requirements.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have:

• Demonstrated knowledge of the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (Cth) and the Student Services, Amenities, Representation and Advocacy Guidelines (SSARA Guidelines) made under that Act, as it relates to the use and management of Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).
• Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise developed through extensive relevant  experience and application along with the ability to gain a conceptual understanding of relevant policies, procedures or systems and interpretation in the application of policy and/or precedent, and the ability to innovate and take responsibility for outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow established procedures with limited supervision and contribute positively to an effective team.
