About the position
The position is based within the La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre in the School of Allied Health, Human Services and Sport. The Centre’s research focuses on advancing knowledge in sport and exercise medicine through high-quality collaborative research, and translating that knowledge into policy, practice, participation, health and wellbeing outcomes.
You will provide specialised support in clinical trials and research management across a range of projects in musculoskeletal and sports medicine. These projects are funded through nationally competitive schemes and are designed to improve clinical outcomes, inform healthcare decision-making, and strengthen evidence-based practice.
The successful candidate will be expected to work onsite at LASEM (La Trobe University, Melbourne Campus – Bundoora).
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have
- Completion of a PhD or equivalent qualifications or research experience.
- A record of publications, conference papers and/or reports, or professional or technical contributions which provide evidence of strong research potential.
- Sound analytical skills with an ability to communicate complex information clearly both orally and in writing.
- High-level organisational skills: the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, initiate and follow-up actions, all with minimal or no supervision.
