About the position

Reporting to the Senior Coordinator, Library Learning Services (Health) you will have a pivotal role in enhancing student learning by partnering with academic staff in health disciplines to design, deliver, and evaluate innovative library programs, resources, and services tailored to curriculum needs.

Senior Learning Librarians work collaboratively to design engaging, high-quality digital learning resources using instructional design principles, embedding them in the LMS and reusing them across disciplines in blended and online learning environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with academic staff in Health to connect library services to the curriculum.
  • Support the ongoing shift from print to digital and promote open educational resources.
  • Develop and embed digital learning objects and instructional materials.
  • Provide specialist information literacy support and advice to students and staff.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver responsive services.
  • Contribute to collection development and resource review.

 

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant undergraduate degree plus 4+ years’ experience or equivalent expertise.
  • Excellent teamwork, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to apply research and data to improve services.
  • Outcome-focused, self-motivated, and adaptable.
  • Strong communication skills and inclusive approach.
