About the position
This new role, Lead Family Care Coordinator (FCC), is placed in the Family Therapy Clinical Program and is within the context of an exciting new clinical service innovation that provides suitable families with Rapid Access Family Therapy at The Bouverie Centre.
The Lead Family Care Coordinator will also contribute to various research projects conducted by The Bouverie Centre Research Team, including participant recruitment.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills with experience in managing and leading staff to promote a cohesive and effective team and managing workflows.
- Ability to be responsible for program/system development and implementation.
- Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and personal management skills.
- Knowledge of family therapy/systemic approaches and the ability to carry out a ‘systemic’ interview with individuals who are wanting to bring their family for therapy.
- Highly developed problem-solving and decision-making abilities and the capability to make sound ethical decisions
- Well-developed needs, risk, safety and formulation assessment skills
