La Trobe University is seeking a Senior Procurement Category Manager to join our dynamic Strategic Procurement team. In this high-impact role, you'll lead the development and execution of category strategies that deliver outstanding value across the University.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the development and hands on execution of end to end category strategies for various high value portfolios. 
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align procurement strategies with University priorities
• Deliver significant commercial outcomes, value creation and future opportunities in the engagements lead.
• Champion best-practice procurement, governance, and performance reporting
• Shape procurement innovation in a values-driven, future-focused institution

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience in senior category management roles with a track record of leading multi-category portfolios.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capabilities
• Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to influence at all levels, including C-suite and executive’s stakeholders. 
• A Bachelor’s degree (minimum); MBA or CIPS certification preferred
