About the position
 
This role is responsible for coordinating activities related to University course transition requirements and reports to the Senior Coordinator, Course Transition. It plays a key part in managing course transition processes and workflows, while also supporting the administration of updates to curriculum, courses, subjects, and study plans for students in line with approvals from the University Coursework Committee.
 
The position involves working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the University to ensure consistent application of procedures, effective reporting, quality assurance, and ongoing improvements. Promoting a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture is also a focus.
 
The role also includes supporting the planning and day-to-day management of team workflows and setting priorities. The successful candidate will handle high-volume, time-sensitive tasks such as cohort data analysis, course update consultations, process development, and manual adjustments to student study plans.
Strong engagement with the Course Management portfolio and academic community is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset. A professional, proactive, and solutions-driven attitude is expected in all aspects of the role.
 
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have
 
• Degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
• Demonstrated ability to gain a conceptual understanding of relevant policies, procedures, or systems and apply them effectively, including interpreting policy and precedence, with awareness of broader sector and governance considerations.
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in the management of quality course and subject data and governance concepts and practices. 
• Demonstrated experience in managing activities, including work planning, prioritisation, allocation, and monitoring, with strong organisational and time management skills with capacity to manage multiple tasks, adjust priorities, and work with conflicting deadlines to deliver timely outputs.
