About the position
A fixed term opportunity in the Department of Accounting, Data Analytics, Economic and Finance, for a Level B Teaching Focused Academic to contribute to curriculum development, coordinate subjects, prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, workshops and labs, facilitate links between the School and industry, and undertake scholarly research relevant to the development of learning and teaching in their discipline.
Skills and Experience
- PhD or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline areas.
- Demonstrated competence in teaching, subject coordination and curriculum development.
- Evidence of innovative initiatives undertaken in the last three years that have improved the student experience, and the evaluation of effectiveness of these initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching (SoLT).
- Demonstrated ability to obtain funding for learning and teaching improvement projects from internal or external grants/contracts/consultancies.
