About the position
This role is responsible for managing courses, overseeing governance, and ensuring compliance with University policies and external regulations. The position requires the accurate creation and maintenance of all subject and course information within the course management system.
Additionally, the role involves providing expert administrative support in the creation or revision of courses and subjects while offering precise policy and process advice to academic staff, and meeting both internal and external deadlines.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have
• A Degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience to consolidate and extend the theories and principles learned, or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
• Highly developed organization skills, with an ability to develop and implement innovative and creative solutions while managing several different projects concurrently.
• Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and personal management skills.
• Ability to apply theoretical knowledge or management or policy expertise to bring together diverse and sometimes conflicting information to solve problems.
• Ability to analyse, interpret and apply relevant and applicable policies, procedures, standards and legislation in the day to day performance of the functions of the position.
• Proven ability to work independently, use initiative and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a demanding environment. This includes a demonstrated ability to work as a cooperative, supportive and positive team member.
