About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of innovative undergraduate and postgraduate coursework, conduct impactful research, and build strong industry connections. Based in the state-of-the-art La Trobe Sports Park precinct, you will be part of a globally ranked program, known for excellence in teaching and research.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaching: Develop, coordinate, and deliver high-quality learning experiences across multiple modalities (online, blended, face-to-face).
- Curriculum Design: Innovate and lead curriculum development, reflecting best practices nationally and internationally.
- Research: Conduct and publish high-quality research and secure external funding.
- Industry Engagement: Build relationships with local, national, and international partners to enhance research and teaching outcomes.
- Student Support: Supervise and mentor Honours, Masters, and PhD students.
Essential Criteria
For Both Levels:
- PhD in Sport and Exercise Science or a related field.
- Expertise in teaching and research relevant to at least two of our degree programs (undergraduate: sport and exercise science, sport coaching and development; postgraduate: exercise physiology; sport analytics; strength and conditioning)
- Strong publication record and evidence of impactful research.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
Level C (Senior Lecturer) Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrated leadership in curriculum design and teaching innovation.
- Established track record of obtaining competitive research grants.
