About the position
The Senior Communications Advisor is a strategic communications specialist responsible for developing and delivering high-impact content that supports La Trobe University’s Industry Engagement (IE) portfolio. The role plays a critical part in advancing the University’s innovation, commercialisation, and partnership goals through compelling, targeted communication across a range of internal and external channels.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Proven editorial expertise, with advanced writing, editing, and content development skills across a range of formats and platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and develop innovative communication solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholder relationships at senior levels, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus.
- High-level organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under pressure.
- Advanced digital literacy, including experience with content management systems (e.g. SquizMatrix), eDM platforms (e.g. Campaign Monitor), and Adobe Creative Suite.
