About the position
The Content Specialist role is a copywriting role that sits within the Creative and Production team, and is responsible for producing, editing and optimising written content and across creative and advertising, website, SEO/AIO, email, digital and print publications, and digital marketing for a prospective domestic student audience.

Reporting to the Content Operations Lead, the role is embedded within cross-functional domestic squads to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across marketing and recruitment to produce, write, edit and coordinate written content, and help oversee approvals and end-to-end processes that enable accurate and timely delivery of content across creative advertising, digital and print marketing channels.

The role also works with academic and professional stakeholders as needed to draft and edit course and product-related content for publication on online and print channels.

This role follows hybrid ways of working, with a blend of office (on-campus) and work from home days.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • Proven experience in writing, editing, optimising and repurposing digital and print content to specifically suit traditional and digital channels (digital advertising, web, social media, video or print).
  • Proven capability in creative and advertising copywriting across multiple channels, including social, print and OOH, with experience executing from established campaign concepts, messaging matrices or brand frameworks in a complex organisational environment.
  • Proven ability to produce compliant, SEO/AIO-optimised digital content for eDM and web, including the ability to write modular and variant copy suitable for personalisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility within a digital marketing or content production environment.
  • High level oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to provide editorial advice and copywriting support.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including the ability to manage competing priorities, effectively prioritise work and achieve user-focused outcomes.
