About the position

The Senior Administration Marketing and Communications Officer - Clinics plays a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the La Trobe Health Clinic. The position provides high level administrative and executive support while coordinating marketing and communications across digital platforms, social media, email, print and video, ensuring compliance with La Trobe University branding and guidelines.

This position will be responsible for supporting the administration team in strengthening service quality, engagement and operational excellence within a collaborative clinical education environment.

The Officer ensures a positive and professional experience for clients, students and staff, supports compliance and risk management, and contributes to continuous improvement and effective Clinic operations.

 

Skills and Experience

  • A relevant degree and substantial administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Experience in a teaching clinic and/or the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, accurate content for web, print and digital media.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently with clients, students, clinicians and University staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, work independently with limited supervision, and show initiative in a busy environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy and adherence to confidentiality requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Calendar) and familiarity with social media platforms and online tools.
