About the position
The Senior Internal Communications Advisor role is responsible for coordinating high quality, professional internal communications to an all-staff audience, through a variety of channels including email newsletters.
The role also oversees the corporate intranet and provides advice on a range of internal communications programs, stakeholder management, and strategic communications planning. This role supports the Internal Communications Manager, with opportunity to perform as Acting Internal Communications Manager when required.
Key selection criteria
To be considered for this position, you will have
- Relevant degree qualifications or extensive experience in strategic communications, internal communications, public relations or journalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated ability to generate content (written and multimedia) for a range of channels and audiences, and proven editorial skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively in small teams and with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to lead and manage several different projects concurrently.
- The ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Previous experience using Content Management Systems such as SquizMatrix, and EDM platforms (Adobe Campaigns or similar), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro and familiarity in reporting on website and EDM analytics.
