• 3 Year Fixed Term/0.5FTE Part Time-Appointment aligned to Academic level of the incumbent’s substantive appointment, Level D or E

The School of Education is seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of Associate Dean, Learning and Teaching. This is an exciting opportunity to provide academic leadership, drive innovation in teaching and learning and help shape the student experience as the school enters a period of renewal and growth. Colleagues with a passion for learning and teaching are encouraged to apply.

Some of your duties will include: 

• Lead and shape the School’s Learning & Teaching strategy in alignment with University priorities.
• Oversee curriculum quality, course development, and student learning outcomes.
• Support and guide academic staff to enhance teaching, retention, and student satisfaction.
• Contribute to School and University leadership, collaboration, and strategic initiatives.

To be considered for this position the successful incumbent will have: 

• PhD (or equivalent) with a proven record in teaching and learning excellence.
• Strong leadership and team development skills, enhancing staff and student outcomes.
• Expertise in current learning and teaching trends, including digital technologies.
• Ability to build strong internal and external collaborations to support the school’s goals.
