  • Higher Education Officer Level 7 casual rate $66.20 per hour + super
  • Based on site at Melbourne (Bundoora) campus

Reporting to the Manager, Research Impact, this role is located in the Research Performance Team.

About the role:

  • Liaise with researchers to identify and record impact activity to support central reporting and strategic planning;
  • Gather and store evidence pertaining to impact activity to ensure that impact narratives are appropriately documented;
  • Prepare communications regarding research impact activity, including webpage updates.

Selection criteria:

The successful candidate must demonstrate possession of the following knowledge and skills:

  • Degree including a research component with subsequent relevant experience, or equivalent professional experience leading to the development of either specialist expertise or broad knowledge;
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
  • Knowledge of the Australian and/or international university research context, in particular industry engagement and/or impact;
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and data collection;
  • Ability to liaise with stakeholders and communicate complex information;
  • Ability to set priorities and deliver on agreed objectives.

Knowledge of SharePoint and/or basic web editing skills are desirable.
