We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to drive innovation in curriculum design, teaching, and mentoring in our Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) program. Based at our vibrant Bendigo campus, you will provide strategic and academic leadership, ensuring excellence in teaching and student outcomes with a strong rural health focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, lead, and deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate and honours programs
- Mentor and support academic staff in curriculum development and delivery
- Lead course and accreditation processes with a focus on excellence and compliance
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote the discipline
- Contribute to the strategic direction of speech pathology within the La Trobe Rural Health School
You will bring:
- A PhD (or be near completion) or equivalent standing recognised by the profession
- Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- A record of excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and academic leadership
- Proven experience in mentoring students and staff, and contributing to course design and accreditation
- A passion for rural health and commitment to social impact
