La Trobe University is seeking a Research Fellow in Psychology: Eating Disorders to coordinate two major clinical trials under the Australian Eating Disorders Research and Translation Centre. This role places you at the forefront of multi-site, multimodal assessment and intervention research focused on improving the lives of those affected by eating disorders.
As Clinical Trial Site Coordinator at our Albury-Wodonga Campus, you will:
- Oversee the planning, management, and execution of large-scale clinical trials.
- Develop and implement research protocols that integrate biological, psychological, and functional assessments and treatments.
- Lead data collection and ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and mentor research staff and students, and contribute to high-impact publications and funding proposals.
You’ll be embedded in the Body Image, Eating and Weight Clinical Research Team (bewtresearch.com.au) and the Autralian Eating Disorder Research and Translation Centre (www.eatingdisordersresearch.org.au) collaborating with leading psychologists, neuroscientists, and clinical scientists as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary research community.
What You'll Bring
- Postgraduate qualification (PhD, Doctorate, or Masters) in Psychology.
- Proven project management experience, especially in clinical trials.
- High-level skills in psychological assessment, data management, and statistical analysis.
- A track record of research publications and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under broad direction.
Highly Desirable:
- Registration as a psychologist.
- Approval as a supervisor by the Psychology Board of Australia.
