La Trobe University is seeking an exceptional Associate Professor in Occupational Therapy to join our School of Allied Health, Human Services and Sport. Based at our Melbourne (Bundoora) campus, this Level D Teaching and Research position offers a unique opportunity to lead and innovate within a supportive and progressive environment.

About the Role
As an Associate Professor, you will:

  • Lead curriculum development, design, and review to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.
  • Drive innovative, high-impact research that contributes nationally and internationally to the discipline of Occupational Therapy.
  • Secure external research funding and foster collaborations with industry partners.
  • Mentor junior staff and supervise higher degree research students to build capability within the department.
  • Represent La Trobe University at national and international levels, building our reputation as a leader in health and wellbeing education.

About You
To be successful, you will have:

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline and a distinguished record of internationally recognised research.
  • Demonstrated leadership in teaching, curriculum development, and management.
  • A strong track record of securing research funding and publishing impactful studies.
  • Proven ability to build sustainable industry partnerships and mentor early-career researchers.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive, innovative, and high-performing team culture.
