About the position
 
The Administrative and Executive Support Officer is required to assist with a variety of duties and initiatives connected to ARCSHS's administrative and operational functions, as well as providing executive assistance to the Director. 
In this position, the support officer answers to regular inquiries and requests while delegating more difficult concerns to the Senior Operations Coordinator. 
 
The successful candidate will also be responsible for contributing to the Centre's communications and public visibility by collaborating and working across all sections of the Centre as needed to ensure that all ARCSHS functions run smoothly and efficiently. 
 
 
Skills and Experience
 
To be considered for this position, you will have
 
• Degree with subsequent relevant experience to consolidate the theories and principles learned, or extensive experience, leading to either the development of specialist expertise or to the development of broad knowledge in an administrative field, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.  
• Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise developed through extensive relevant experience and application.
• High level proficiency in computer software packages including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, editing for the web, online learning platforms, Zoom, Microsoft Office suite and other online co-working platforms.
• Demonstrated capacity to organise work effectively and efficiently and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
