About the position

The Senior Recruitment Officer (Undergraduate) plays a vital role in building strong relationships on behalf of the University to attract high-quality domestic applicants across Australia. This position focuses on developing and nurturing connections with secondary schools, partner organisations, and prospective students, ensuring the University is well represented in key markets.

Working within a dynamic team environment, the role contributes to recruitment initiatives and projects that support the University’s strategic priorities. A key aspect of the position is promoting the benefits of further study to school leavers, helping them make informed decisions about their future.

The Senior Recruitment Officer uses exceptional communication skills to deliver engaging presentations and articulate study options clearly to students, parents, and stakeholders. This requires a proactive and collaborative approach, as well as the ability to represent the University professionally in diverse settings.

 

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have

  • A Degree with subsequent relevant experience preferably in marketing, business or communications to consolidate the theories and principles learned, or extensive experience, leading to either the development of specialist expertise or to the development of broad knowledge in marketing and sales, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present to large and diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated depth or breadth of expertise developed through extensive relevant experience and application.
  • Demonstrated ability to gain a conceptual understanding of relevant policies, procedures or systems and interpretation in the application of policy and/or precedent.
  • Ability to innovate and take responsibility for outcomes.
